Building Healthy Communities

Disrupting Poverty Cycles

Lending a Hand to Our Neighbors

  • Who We Are

Aid in Milan is a 501(c)(3) human service agency that has been serving our community since 1976. We provide emergency food through our food pantry and mobile pantry programs. Our direct aid programs, advocacy services and education programs provide the support services that empower our clients to overcome barriers created by generational poverty.

Meet the Team

None of us, including me, ever do great things. But we can all do small things with great love, and together we can do something wonderful.
— Mother Theresa

A critical part of Aid in Milan’s mission is that we are volunteer led. That means that our team is intentionally small, so that our community has the opportunity to step up and fill in the gaps, staying in touch with the needs of their neighbors.

This keeps our operation lean and directs as much funding as possible to the mission, but it also means that our staff has to be hard working, efficient, and creative in finding ways to serve the increasing number of clients that come through our doors each week.

We are fortunate to have a dedicated team of volunteers to support our work, and a uniquely qualified and highly motivated staff to work towards our goal of building a healthy community.
